So after some serious discussions, we decided not to sail south from Manzanillo. The engine problems delayed us too long and the weather window for getting to Costa Rica was getting small. Because of the risk and time and money considerations, we put the boat in Grand Bay Hotel´s Marina in Barra de Navidad. Joaquin and I are traveling by bus now, still headed for Costa Rica. We´ll be crossing 4 countires to get there and will certainly be having a good time. Matt is hanging out in Barra, getting the boat ready to be left in Mexico for the summer. He plans to come back in November once storm season passes and continue the journey south by boat. I will post some updates to our land adventures soon. We should be in Puerto Escondido by tomorrow night. Plans change but we have to be flexible. We are all still in good spirits and as always looking forward to new adventures. The last two months of sailing have changed us all forever. What an opportunity! Now to see what else Central America has to share with us.
