Paraiso

First stop out of Puerto Vallarta was in Chamela Bay. On the south end of the Bay is an anhorage called Paraiso (Paradise). The anchorage was the only place we could find to shelter from the large south swells we got for a few days. We couldn't go ashore at all because the land is all part of some rich tycoons plantation. The cove was pretty sweet though, and we slept well without too much rocking that night. The little beach town of Chamela at the north end of the bay is in the picture below...beach palapas and chill vibe. But the waves were hitting this anchorage pretty bad so we only stayed for a few minutes.
