So I´ve been in Costa Rica for over a week now. Haven´t posted in a while cause I wanted to surprise Erika in San Jose when she arrived and wanted her to think I wasn´t in the country. Then we were off tromping through the rainforest and too busy enjoying our time together to be on a computer. Erika and I got back to San Jose last night and she left this morning...I am super bummed. Here's what we did for the last week.
I guess Peninsula de Osa has crocs! Okay, noted!
We spent the majority of our time in Peninsula de Osa, which contains the Corcovado National Park. We took a bus from San Jose to Puerto Jimenez, the gateway to the park.

A little blurry, but you get the point, we were drenched. I know Erika´s gonna kill me for this one...sorry babe.

Margaritas on the beach at night near Puerto Jimenez, not another person on the beach.
Our hike in started in Carate, and it was 2 miles to get to the park entrance. Then another 12 miles to get to Sirena Ranger station. Here are some pictures of the hike in...
This was our "bus ride"in to Carate.
A nice view In Dominical they even have a Thrusters Bar. Jen Paul you are missing out.
Thats the photo log of our trip. I´m actually posting this a week later cause I never finished this and was adventuring on the Caribean coast. Thats up next...

Hey Josh, Or should I say Dr. Chin Strap? I was thinking last night I needed some vicarious living- Toledo does that to people, and I thought about how your're travelling the world. Great to see the adventure unfold on the internet. Hope you are well and happy. I'll keep watching this as things unfold...
